90° Hydraulic Turnover Machine | 15-Ton Capacity for Cylinder Liner Production | Turnkey Solution
Overview
Scope of Supply and Delivery Date: This equipment is primarily used in the cylinder liner production process to rotate cylinder liners from a horizontal or vertical position through 0-90 degrees, meeting the requirements of the production line. To ensure versatility for various liner sizes, the maximum load capacity of this equipment is 15 tons. The turnover platform surface dimensions are approximately 4800*2600mm + 2600*2000mm.
This project is a turnkey project. The bidder is responsible for the equipment’s design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, commissioning, and training.
Delivery Schedule: Equipment manufacturing shall be completed within 60 days after contract signing, at which point Party B will be notified for factory inspection. Installation, commissioning, training, and final acceptance shall be completed within 15 days after the equipment arrives on site.
Delivery Location: Designated location by China Shipbuilding Marine Power Components Co., Ltd.

Scope of Supply
- One (1) Hydraulic Turnover Machine, including main structure, pump station motor, hydraulic cylinder, electrical control system.
- A total of four (4) units of this turnover machine are required, to be installed in two batches. The first batch includes the installation of one (1) unit.
Main Technical Requirements
Technical Requirements
- The maximum flipping weight is 15 tons, rotating 0-90° from a horizontal or vertical position, and capable of stopping at any angle within this range.
- Flipping power utilizes high-reliability hydraulic cylinders, equipped with a hydraulic oil pump station. There shall be no oil leakage during operation, and connections between the pump station and hydraulic cylinders shall use high-pressure hoses.
- At the 0° position, the platform shall be slightly above ground level for operator convenience. At the 90° position, part of the cylinder liner will be in the pit; a retractable arc-shaped operation platform shall be provided, with a maximum load capacity of 200kg.
- The work surface shall be equipped with roller supports, comprising no fewer than 4 rollers. Roller drive shall employ a combination of lead screw and track, allowing electrically controlled horizontal and vertical movement to accommodate supporting requirements for different diameters and positions.
- For roller positioning, the control system shall possess a memory function for no fewer than 10 sets (with editable names) of roller positions, allowing convenient one-button switching via the visual operation panel.
- Contact surfaces with the cylinder liner shall utilize high-strength wear-resistant material (polyurethane plate) to prevent wear on the liner caused by repeated use.
- During the flipping process, the machine shall employ hydraulic-mechanical rotating arms as a protection device to ensure no tipping or slipping of the cylinder liner, thereby mitigating major safety risks.
- The hydraulic-mechanical rotating arms shall be equipped with pressure detection devices, enabling one-button clamping protection functionality through the electrical control system.
- The control system shall adopt a “control cabinet + wireless remote control” scheme. The remote control shall be a branded industrial remote control (while retaining wired remote control capability).
- Safety guards shall be installed around the equipment pit to prevent personnel from entering the equipment area or falling into the pit during operation.
- The machine design shall facilitate the manual installation and removal of crane hooks when loading/unloading parts onto/from the work platform.
- The supplier shall provide free technical training for equipment operation, maintenance, and upkeep.
- After-sales service requirement: On-site response within 24 hours during the warranty period.
- Paint color standards shall be implemented according to the buyer’s requirements.
Safety
- The turnover machine shall be equipped with no fewer than 2 emergency stop switches during use; the equipment controller includes an emergency stop button. Pressing this button immediately halts all equipment operation. Operation can resume by rotating the button counterclockwise after the situation is resolved.
- Hydraulic cylinders shall incorporate internal burst valves. In the event of accidental hose detachment or rupture, the burst valve locks the hydraulic oil within the cylinder, preventing platform fall due to sudden pressure loss.
- The hydraulic power unit shall include a pressure relief valve. If power failure or loss of motive power prevents platform movement, this valve can be adjusted to allow the platform to lower under its own weight.
- The distribution box shall incorporate phase-failure protection relays. In case of a phase loss, the system enters a protected state, cutting power to the motor to prevent burnout.
- The turnover machine shall feature an automatic pressure retention function upon power failure, ensuring the workpiece does not cause safety incidents due to gravity or angular inclination.
- Guardrails with interlock devices shall be installed around the machine to prevent personnel from entering the flipping area during operation.
- The machine shall be equipped with mechanical stops at 0° and 90° to prevent over-rotation and workpiece slippage.
- The machine shall utilize a hydraulic self-locking structure, which locks immediately upon stopping, preventing unintended movement even in cases of power failure or oil leakage.
- The hydraulic pump station must be equipped with a frequency converter to adjust motor speed, control cylinder speed, and achieve soft start/stop functionality.
